Henley Bank High School

HBHS visit Forest Green Rovers

orest Green Rovers sent a few tickets to Henley Bank High School for their recent game. A few students went a long to this amazing opportunity.

Below is their match report by Katherine, Jonathan and Sophia, Year 8:

The match was a tense battle with both teams showing glimpses of quality. But off the pitch, it was even more impressive. They had truly elite chips and hot chocolate. Seriously, whoever runs the vegan food stand deserves an award! With their organic urine fertilised pitch, and 184 solar panels power the stadium it felt like a truly sustainable shodown. Final Score 2-2.

Beyond the football FGR continues to break boundaries in green football. Their kits are made from recycled plastic and coffee grounds, proving football and eco-conscious fashion can go hand in hand. Even their training gear and bamboo shin pads follow their green philosophy, showing their commitment to making our world greener.
