We begin each session by demonstrating and discussing a particular tactic or concept in chess, and then for the majority of the session we play games (perhaps practicing the new skill in-game). We recently had a guest speaker from the Gloucester Chess Club who taught us about his favourite opening moves in tournaments, all named after animals. We look forward to seeing you in our club soon!
