Cheltenham Science Festival
Students from years 7 & 8 visit Cheltenham Science Festival.
As our wonderful year 7 & 8 students made their way around the Cheltenham Science festival, they had their eyes opened to the many types of scientific work taking place within many huge and local industries. From cracking codes and encryptions with the GCHQ team, to suturing a banana back together in full surgeon scrubs! From milking cows to eating bugs! Designing and constructing an aerodynamic paper rocket to send to the moon, to building a landing gear for a Boeing 737.
